Flash in flag7x: Off, Auto, Standard, and Max

Pick the flash strength that fits your scene, plus tips for night shots and video when you need more light on your face.

Flash is a big part of the compact flash-camera aesthetic—bright subject, moody background, photos that still feel candid. flag7x is designed to capture stunning flash photos and videos with that character, using straightforward on-screen choices instead of a separate editing workflow.

Photo mode: Off, Auto, Standard, and Max

  • Off — stay in available light and lean on Color Tones for mood.
  • Auto — let the app decide when a little burst of light helps.
  • Standard — a strong, flattering pop for portraits and nights out.
  • Max — when you need the boldest subject brightness the scene allows.

Prefer a menu instead of cycling? You can switch how flash choices appear in Settings.

Fine-tuning in Settings

The Flash section in Settings offers extra choices if you want flash to feel a little different from one day to the next. Adjustments there are optional—most people get great results from the main flash modes alone.

Video and selfies

In Video mode you can use light assist the same way you would expect from a creator camera: helpful when you are facing the lens and the room is dim. Use the flash control while in Video to see what works for your clip.

If something looks unexpected

Photo quality settings can interact with how the camera behaves. If you change quality, read any short message the app shows and give the preview a moment to settle before you shoot your keeper.
